WARPDLE

About Warpdle

Warpdle is a free daily music game. You press play, hear a hit run backwards, and try to name the song in five guesses. That is the whole loop.

The Daily puzzle mixes Billboard year-end top 10 singles from 1960 on. If you want to stay in one decade, Eras has a separate quiz for the 2020s back through the 1960s. Each mode has its own song for the day and its own streak on your device.

The pool is year-end charts, not a dump of whatever an algorithm surfaced this week. That keeps the answers as songs a lot of people actually heard, even if the reverse makes them sound like a different record.

There is no account. Progress, guesses, and streaks live in your browser. Share a grid with someone and they get the pattern, not the title. After you finish, you can hear the original preview for 30 seconds.

Warpdle is not affiliated with Billboard, iTunes, Apple, any label, or any artist. Preview audio comes from public 30-second clips, then we reverse them for the quiz. If a clip is missing, that song does not go in the day's rotation.

The site is maintained: a new puzzle publishes every day, old dates stay in the archive, and era modes get the same treatment. If you want the rules in one place, read How to play. Short answers live on the FAQ.
